“I was lucky to grow up with a chiropractor near me, and even luckier that it was my dad.”

I was adjusted only a few minutes after birth and received regular Chiropractic care my entire life. I was lucky to grow up with a chiropractor near me, and even luckier that it was my dad. I remember growing up and seeing my friends getting sick and noticing that they seemed to be missing a lot of school to go to the doctor’s office. I didn’t fully understand how or why, but I knew that for me to stay healthy, I needed to get adjusted.

After spending time in my dad’s practice and seeing the miracles take place, I decided to follow in his footsteps. I received my bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. One of my greatest passions throughout my college years was playing rugby. In my time playing rugby, I suffered a number of on-field concussions. My last concussion was so severe that it ended my rugby career. I was experiencing headaches, vertigo, and was having difficulty sleeping. I was in clinic at the time and could not bend over to adjust my patients because I would get too dizzy. On top of that, my final board exams were quickly approaching and I was forced to consider postponing them until after graduation because of the brain fog I was experiencing. I was being treated by some of the best doctors, but nothing was really helping. I was less than a year from graduating and I was starting to lose hope.

As it happened to be, it was my injuries that led me to Upper Cervical Chiropractic. After watching me struggle with these health issues, Dr. Zach convinced me to give Upper Cervical care a chance. The first correction he gave me changed my life. Not only was my health rapidly improving, but my faith in Chiropractic was restored.

I am so very blessed to share the same passion as my husband, helping people on their journey to better health through Chiropractic Care. Now, when I hear a patient say we are their last hope and that they have tried everything else, I can confidently tell them, “I know how you feel, you are in the right place”.
